Welcome to my page! Let me tell you a bit about who I am.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Federal University of Technology – Paraná, Brazil. I also have a Master's degree in Information Systems from the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança, Portugal.
Besides CS, I have experience teaching basic computer skills, and I have worked for almost a year in human resources. As for hobbies, I am currently learning French. I also like to learn to take pictures and produce videos in my free time, which you can check here.
Now back to CS, my favourite book is "Introduction to Algorithms" by Thomas H. Cormen. The "data structure" topic was the one I most enjoyed investing time, back at university. I find it very interesting to learn the best way to manipulate data, as in sorting algorithms. I also loved to learn how to store data most efficiently for each use, as in heaps, stacks, and queues.
You can take a look at my open-source repositories. I highlighted some of them here. Most of them were made as university coursework and study aids. Most recently, I have started doing off-work projects to learn new technologies. For example, I made the GitHub browser project to learn a little bit about Flutter, and the Question And Answer project to practice Go.
The Quincunx game was a unique experience. It was my first attempt to learn SFML (graphical C++ library). I had a good time writing this casino-like game. The collision detection is not perfect, but it gets the job done!
